I just love close up photos of snowflakes and this one was quite magical. I used 6 different snowflake dies with glitter paper. The white glitter paper is layered on a slightly offset turquoise glitter die cut to give it a shadow. Then the top layer uses a deep dark blue glitter paper that has been cut in spots to give more definition to these sparkly snowflakes. A bit tedious, but worth the effort! I made a stencil in vellum with various sizes of circles to create a bokeh effect using white pigment ink, then also splattered with water and white acrylic to try to create layers of 'snowfall'. Then finished off with a few clear fairy drops to give the idea of water droplets.
